Everyone loves to be given gifts, especially during important moments in their life. Before presenting gift for someone we may need to pay attention on a few things such as: for whom are we giving the gifts for (family, parents, friends, lovers), age of the recipient of the gift (adults, children, the elderly), the recipient’s preferences or hobbies (plant lovers, stamp collections, antique collections, etc.) on what occasions (Christmas, birthdays, occupy a new house, the birth of children).
Another factor that is no less important is our budget and sincerity. Gifts do not have to be expensive but it has to represent our feelings or good intentions are represented by the gift. But sometimes giving presents could give you a headache, especially if the person you want to buy gifts is quite unique. Whether it’s a birthday, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day, or Christmas, this cool gift will show your special someone you know what they like best. Some of them are practical, funny, entertaining homemade and others meant to be pampered- but they all have one thing in common: Each of these plant gift ideas aims to make your dear plant-loving person smile. These are things considered to be the best unique gifts suitable for plant lovers.

#2. Moisture probe for plants
Plant lovers ‘gonna love this thing. Why? They’re amazing – having them means plant lovers don’t have to mess around guessing if their plants need watering? it also frees you from having to put your finger in the soil – this is not only disgusting, but it can also be dangerous, egg if you have a small pot. contains a cactus plant. There is indeed some disagreement among the plant community about how accurate they are, but we don’t need them to be precise. This is just an add-on with our fingers, that helps us to weigh the soil moisture levels. And, like I said if your plant-loving friends already have one, they’ll be happy to have more than one of these moisture probes, as they probably have multiple plant zones in their home.
# 3. Hygrometer
The hygrometer is a small square box that can measure many things. Not just measuring humidity levels, but also sunlight and temperature. Very useful for keeping all your plant friends (ahem, I mean your plant friends) happy and healthy.
You can buy it on Amazon for £ 7.99. The shape is small and compact enough to carry around.
# 4. Terracotta pots
Terracotta pots are made of burnt clay. The porous nature of this soil-based medium allows air and water to pass through the pot walls; so that it can help nourish plants by preventing root rot and diseases caused by overwatering. However, it can also cause the soil to dry out quickly, which means that it requires more frequent watering.
#5. Watering cans
#6. Plants
Plants are a classic gift but they are more beautiful and long-lasting than cut flowers. Plants will beautify your home and room, match their surroundings, and can even help clean the air. Plants are always a wonderful gift, especially on dark, gloomy winter days, if for no other reason than that will remind us that spring, with all its abundance of natural greenery, is not too far away. But not all plants are suitable for everyone. Plant gift-giving criteria should take into account the recipient’s ability to care for the plant, size of the plant, possible allergies, likelihood of being toxic to pets and children, and so on.
Some plants can be a nightmare, of course, you don’t want that to happen, do you? Don’t worry if your friend already has the same plant, they could trade it among other plant lovers. Some popular plants to give are Cactus, jade plant, orchids, rose flowers, succulents. No matter what type of plant you choose to give, be prepared to come to terms with the fact that the plants you give to your friend may not survive. When that thing happens please don’t be too sad about it. Learn more…
#7. Grow Lights
Grow lights are a great Christmas gift (if you live in the Northern Hemisphere) as it can be difficult to get sunlight here among winter houseplants. The grow light obviously works as a regular light too, so you can’t go wrong with this one. A spare pair of lights is also a nice touch. Grow lights provide a spectrum of light similar to sunlight, or provide a spectrum that is more adjusted to the needs of the cultivated plant. Outdoor conditions are imitated by variations in color (blue for cool and red for warm), temperature and spectral output of growing light, and variations in light intensity.
Depending on the type of plant being cultivated, the planting stage (e.g. germination / vegetative or flowering/fruiting phase), and the photoperiod required by the plant, the specific spectrum range, desired light properties, and color temperature for use with the plant and the specific time period.
